I currently practice out of San Francisco, and now Oakland, California as well. When setting up an appointment with me, please specify if you are interested in seeing me at my Oakland office.

How do I make an appointment? 

You can set up an initial appointment with me by either phone or email. I am happy to speak with you for a free 30-minute phone consultation to discuss your needs prior to scheduling your first appointment.


What is the focus of our first appointment?

During our first appointment, I want to gain a better understanding your needs and concerns, as well as get to know one another. Finding a good match with a therapist and establishing a therapeutic rapport are key factors for a successful therapy experience. 


How often will I come to therapy? 

Sessions last 50 minutes and typically occur every week, though both the length and frequency may vary according to need. In order to experience the greatest gains in therapy, it is important to meet consistently.


Do you offer phone or video sessions?

Telephone sessions, as well as teleconferencing, are offered for individuals who are unable to meet in person on occasion and where appropriate.


Do you accept insurance? 

I do not accept any insurance, but I can provide you with a monthly billing statement that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Please check with your insurance provider to clarify your specific mental health coverage.


What is your cancellation policy?

A 48-hour cancellation is required. If a session is missed or less than 48-hours is provided, the full rate of session will be charged.


What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment is accepted by cash, check, Visa or Mastercard at the time of each session.
